About The BdB Company

An independent online education provider delivering practical workplace learning to learners across Canada, supported from our office in Amersfoort, Netherlands.

Why we started

The BdB Company B.V. was founded in 2019 to deliver professional education that is practical, readable, and genuinely usable in everyday work. The idea came from a familiar gap: many learners can find information online, but translating it into a stable routine—writing a crisp meeting summary, structuring a status update, or planning a small project without chaos—often requires a clearer path than scattered articles provide.

Our programs focus on workplace fundamentals that show up in almost every role: business administration basics, communication habits, leadership behaviors, coordination methods, and productivity systems. Lessons are designed to be completed online with flexible pacing, while still encouraging weekly momentum. Support is available for questions about the educational content and learning exercises.

The service area is Canada, and delivery is entirely online across every province and territory. Our administrative office is located in Amersfoort, Netherlands, and we handle inquiries and learner support through secure online forms and email.

Education-only positioning

Clear boundaries keep learning honest

We provide educational services only. That means our work is curriculum, learning materials, and learner support related to the content. We do not provide consulting, financial services, legal services, accounting, investment services, recruitment, employment placement, healthcare services, immigration services, software development, engineering services, or government-recognized certification services.

Practical exercises

Scenario-based tasks that teach transferable habits, not one-off tricks.

Downloadable resources

Templates, checklists, and planners designed to be reused after the program.

Mission statement

To provide accessible, practical, and flexible online education that supports lifelong learning and professional development.

Vision

To become a trusted provider of online professional education helping learners throughout Canada strengthen workplace competencies through modern digital learning.

Learning philosophy and values

Our learning philosophy is built around a simple principle: a learner should be able to apply the material the same week they study it. That sounds modest, but it requires careful instructional design—clear definitions before jargon, examples that resemble real office scenarios, and exercises that produce tangible artifacts. In practice, that might be a meeting agenda that actually prevents drift, a short stakeholder update that reduces follow-up questions, or a project checklist that makes dependencies visible.

The curriculum favors clarity over volume. Lessons are short, and each week aims for one primary skill. We use scaffolding: learners start with guided examples and gradually move toward independent work. Resources are designed as reusable tools, not one-time downloads. The goal is steady competence rather than performative completion.

Practical learning

Exercises produce workplace-ready outputs such as checklists, short briefs, meeting notes, and process maps.

Lifelong learning

Skills are structured as repeatable habits, with reference resources designed for ongoing reuse.

Accessibility

Online delivery supports learners across Canada with flexible pacing and clear weekly expectations.

Integrity

Transparent boundaries: educational scope only, no outcome guarantees, and clear privacy practices.

Quality standards we use internally

Each module is checked for plain language, consistent terminology, and a clear learning objective. Exercises are reviewed to ensure they align with the lesson and produce an artifact a learner can actually reuse. When we update materials, we keep version notes so learners are not surprised by shifting instructions mid-program.

Meet the learning team

Learning specialists contribute to curriculum development and learner support related to the educational materials. Profiles describe educational expertise only and do not represent consulting, financial advice, legal advice, accounting, recruitment, employment placement, engineering, or advisory services.

Sofia M. — Business Administration Educator (BBA)

Sofia has spent 9 years translating operational concepts into clear learning modules, with a focus on documentation habits, process clarity, and day-to-day coordination. Her lessons are known for crisp examples and templates that learners can reuse immediately. She pays unusual attention to the small things—naming conventions, handover notes, and meeting artifacts—because that is where workplace confusion tends to start.

Ethan J. — Communication Instructor (MA, Applied Linguistics)

Ethan has taught professional writing and workplace communication for 11 years, specializing in message structure, clarity, and audience-fit. He focuses on practical outputs: a meeting recap that answers the “what now” question, a concise request line, and a repeatable update format that reduces back-and-forth. Learners often mention his rewrite exercises as the part that changes their daily routine fastest.

Priya D. — Leadership Development Specialist (PgCert, Leadership)

Priya has worked in leadership education for 8 years, concentrating on delegation structure, feedback habits, and team coordination routines. Her modules favor concrete scenarios: prioritizing a task list, setting a decision cadence, and documenting responsibilities so nothing falls into the gaps. She is known for making leadership feel practical rather than performative.

Liam T. — Professional Learning Advisor (MEd)

Liam supports learning design and learner guidance with 10 years of experience in online education. He focuses on pacing, clarity of instructions, and reducing friction in self-paced learning. He is also the person who will ask, “What will a learner do on Monday morning with this?” and then push the module until that answer is obvious.

A note on outcomes

Participation in educational programs does not guarantee employment, promotions, certifications, business success, or financial outcomes. Learners remain responsible for independently applying acquired knowledge in their own context.
